Under the Indonesian constitution, colonialism has no place in this world. The President of Indonesia emphatically asserts that it is now time for the world to stand together in fostering global solidarity to address the Palestinian issue equitably and apply the internationally agreed-upon parameters.

Indonesia, in conjunction with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, will convey a resounding message to the world urging the cessation of the ongoing escalation, including the cessation of the use of violence, and to refocus on humanitarian concerns while addressing the root cause, i.e., the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Such concrete actions must be consistently followed through with unwavering commitment by other nations.

There is no good war, and there is no bad peace. War only disseminates death and destruction, fosters hatred, and leads to an adverse future. Indonesia and the nations of the world must advocate for and uphold international law over their respective national interests. (*)
